Did you know that if you were the owner of a retail store on a busy street, and your store didn’t have a sign you would probably get a lot of people to come in and look around out of curiosity.
The problem is that they are just looking to see what you have to offer instead of buying products. If you put out a sign that said ”Work Boots Sold Here”, you would attract people that want to buy work boots and you might even make some money.
It’s the same with the search engines and keywords. You need to advertise what you offer with your keywords. If you make the mistake of not optimizing your site or optimize your site for the wrong keywords, you will get a lot of lookers but the buyers will have a hard time finding you business online.
It is real hard to make money online if your buyers can’t find you, so put out your sign….
