I would like to pass on one tip to help you stay on task in your business and increasing your income. You must prioritize your tasks when you are working at or running your online business.

For instance, what is a bigger priority, to hanging out on your favorite marketing forum or writing articles to promote your web site, product or services?

Obviously the latter should be a higher priority, but which one do you often choose to do instead? An article can be written in anywhere from 15 minutes, to an hour, but how often do you find yourself spending anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours on the forums when you should be writing.

This is just one example of something you can do to manage your time better You can prioritize which projects or tasks you will work on first and the order of their importance.

One problem that I have run into is research time. I usually start a project before I do my research on it. Then I bounce to different forums, blogs and article sources to gather the information that I need so I can complete it.

If you want to prioritize your workload it would be a good idea to set aside some time for planing and research. Make an outline for your workday so you will have the information you need when you sit down to do the real work that you need to get done.

You can increase your income by doing what is important for your business first, then do the rest. Important projects will float to the top of the list and many of the less important items just go away on their own.
